Freelance Marketing Designer, Web

PolicyMe

Toronto, Ontario, Canadacontract

Note there is also a full time opening available, that a freelancer could look to move into if interested. PolicyMe is building a simpler, more affordable insurance experience for Canadian families. Our website is where customers learn, build trust, and take the next step toward coverage. We’re hiring a freelance Marketing Designer, Web to raise the visual quality of that experience. You’ll design, improve, and maintain our marketing site built using Webflow; turn Growth briefs into polished, component-led pages; and own quality through launch. Most of your work will be web and CMS-based, with select opportunities to support campaign creative, slides, ads, email UI, and other brand assets. This is not a product-design, UX-research, or front-end developer role. We need a strong visual designer with exceptional judgment in typography, hierarchy, layout, responsive design, and the details that make a page feel considered. You don’t need to be a Webflow expert on day one: CMS fluency, good technical judgment, and an appetite to learn matter more. Turn Growth and Content briefs into polished Figma designs for landing pages, product pages, editorial hubs, and campaigns. Build clear, conversion-aware, accessible, and responsive layouts using our design system and existing components. Design new components when needed, extending our design system in a cohesive, reusable way. Improve the marketing site’s everyday surfaces, including navigation, templates, content modules, and EN/FR experiences (French language is not required) with the same care as major launches. Bring a point of view to how PolicyMe shows up visually. As a startup, you’ll have meaningful input into the evolution of our web and marketing design identity, in partnership with Growth and Design leadership. Learn and use our CMS and Webflow environment to build, update, and publish pages. Own pre- and post-launch quality: responsive checks, visual QA, content and link validation, localization review, and clear resolution of inconsistencies. Maintain and improve reusable Figma and CMS components, templates, and guardrails so the team can ship faster without compromising quality. Create complete handoffs for Webflow/development partners, covering interaction states, edge cases, annotations, and walkthroughs. Manage design feedback through implementation and ensure launched work matches the intended experience. Coordinate with Growth, Content, Design, and Engineering to clarify scope, surface dependencies, and keep projects moving. Support selected needs across campaign creative, ads, slide templates, email UI, illustrations, and other marketing assets. Use AI design tools—including Claude Design—to explore quickly, create wireframes and variations, and improve production speed, while applying strong human judgment to every final output. Need to have’s: 2–4 years of experience in marketing, web, brand, or related digital design. Exceptional portfolios matter more than an exact number of years. A portfolio made up of highly polished marketing websites or landing pages, plus evidence of breadth across formats such as campaign work, motion, illustration, presentations, ads, or email. Excellent Figma skills and a sharp eye for typography, spacing, composition, hierarchy, image selection, and responsive behaviour. Experience in a CMS or no-code/low-code site builder. Webflow experience is welcome, not required. The ability to work within and thoughtfully extend an existing component system—not simply make one-off pages. A meticulous, reliable approach to quality and a willingness to own both high-visibility launches and routine CMS/site-maintenance work. Clear communication: you can write useful specs, give developers actionable feedback, and work effectively with non-design partners. Comfort juggling concurrent requests, making practical trade-offs, and using AI tools to increase speed without lowering the craft bar. Nice to have’s: Webflow experience, including CMS collections, global components, slots and variables, responsive page building, or publishing workflows. Basic HTML/CSS literacy. Experience briefing, reviewing, or QAing agency or freelance developer work. Experience in a high-trust, regulated, consumer-facing, or content-heavy business. Familiarity with accessibility, localization, SEO-aware content templates, or conversion-oriented web design. Generous PTO - 20 vacation days A comprehensive benefits plan with premiums paid in full by PolicyMe Investment in your professional development, including an L&D budget, AI tooling budget, performance reviews twice a year and ongoing feedback to ensure you reach your highest potential An extremely high performing, low-ego, remote-first team that is truly disrupting an old industry Option to work from home or our Toronto-based office (bonus: we cover the costs to bring all our employees in-person twice a year for experiential socials!) Access to stock options based on performance About PolicyMe: At PolicyMe, we are Canada’s leading digital insurance solution, offering straightforward and affordable financial protection for families from coast to coast. Our product suite includes Life Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and Health & Dental Insurance, all tailored to Canadians' evolving needs. We also offer B2B2C solutions, partnering with organizations to provide seamless digital insurance options. Social Media Manager ( SaaS / Remote / Part-time / Belgium )

Publitas

€35.00–€55.00/hr

Brussels, Brussels, Belgiumpart time

The Mission: Publitas turns static, dead PDFs into interactive, shoppable digital content discovery experiences for global brands. Across our consumer platforms like PromoButler and Promozilla, we help European shoppers discover the best local retail offers and discounts in one paperless destination. Our platforms rely on high engagement to keep deal-hunters returning and to drive digital catalog folder opens. As a Social Media Creator (PromoButler), your mission is to convert short-form social media attention directly into platform traffic and boosted folder opens. We are not looking for a corporate social media strategist who only manages schedules from behind a desk. We need an energetic, hands-on, native-fluent content creator who loves getting in front of the camera, hunting down top retail deals, and leveraging modern AI workflows to scale short-form video output across social channels. We don't measure you by years of experience; we measure you by outcomes. Here is what you will achieve in your first 3 months: Day 30: You have seamlessly taken over the PromoButler Instagram and TikTok channels, establishing a reliable content cadence without drop-off. You have built custom AI prompts and workflow templates (using tools like Gemini, Claude, and CapCut) to cut your video creation and offer-tagging time in half. Day 60: You have tested and validated new short-form content formats (unboxing, trend hijacks, street interviews, and retailer store visits) across Dutch and French social feeds. You have established a clean workflow for capturing store footage across Belgian retailers and running localized content experiments. Day 90: Your short-form video engine operates with high speed and precision. Your top-performing video formats consistently drive measurable lifts in Belgian follower growth, social engagement, and direct folder opens on the PromoButler platform. Creator-First Mindset: You don't just follow social trends, you hijack them. You understand hooks, audio clips, pacing, and visual storytelling that stop the scroll on TikTok and Instagram Reels. AI-First Efficiency: You don't create every post from scratch. You leverage AI voiceovers, automated clipping, and smart prompt templates to publish high-quality short-form content at scale across multiple languages. Radical Proactivity & Mobility: You don't wait for a script to be handed to you. When a client books a TikTok campaign or a major retail discount drops, you grab your gear, head to the store, and shoot the content yourself. Boots on the Ground in Belgium: You must be based in Belgium with a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation to visit partner retail stores for on-location shoots. Retailers demand specific store locations across Belgium; a car is a strict operational requirement for time and efficiency. Native Belgian Language Mastery: Fluent in both Flemish (Belgian Dutch) and French (Walloon), with an intuitive understanding of local Belgian phrasing (which differs significantly from Netherlands Dutch, knowing when to use "promotion" vs. "offer"). On-Camera Charisma & Short-Form Video Skills: High comfort level appearing on camera, filming yourself, and editing scroll-stopping content using CapCut, InShot, or native mobile suites. Applied AI Competency: Active daily use of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, AI video generators) to script, translate, voiceover, and automate content output. Flawless Asynchronous Communication: Strong written and spoken English for collaborating with our async, global team. Transparent Compensation: A competitive hourly contractor rate (€35.00–€55.00/hr based on expertise) with clear reimbursements for travel, petrol, and store purchases True Remote Autonomy: Part-time flexibility (25–30 hours/week) with no clock-watching or unnecessary alignment meetings. Time Off: Generous paid time off mapped to your contract arrangement and national holidays. At Publitas, we see AI as a core lever for performance, efficiency, and innovation. We expect all team members to actively use AI in their daily work to improve quality, speed, and output. Depending on the role, this ranges from effectively using AI tools in day-to-day workflows to designing and scaling AI-driven systems. We are not looking for candidates who are “AI-curious”; we look for people who already use AI to do better work and can demonstrate tangible impact.

Senior eCommerce UI/UX Designer - APAC

WON

Indiatemporary

About WON WON is building the next generation of AI transformation for enterprise organizations. We are not another AI tools vendor. We build AI-native systems, combined with deep human judgment and category expertise, that fundamentally change how our clients operate, make decisions, and serve their customers. Within that, our design practice works with premium DTC and ecommerce brands doing $50M to $500M+ in revenue: brands with strong products and strong followings that are still leaving growth on the table. We are not a “make it pretty” agency, and we are not another CRO shop running button tests. We combine deep behavioral insight with quantitative truth, then ship exceptional work fast, and we are building the AI-native systems that let us do it at a pace and scale traditional design teams cannot match. AI powers our systems. Taste powers our design. The two compound each other: automation gives you the speed, and your judgment decides what is actually good. This role reports to the VP of Design and works within the design roadmap they set. What You’ll Own End-to-end execution of high-conversion experiences, full customer journey redesigns, and high-performance growth creative, scoped by the design roadmap and delivered in close collaboration with the VP of Design The WON design standard: clean, premium, behavior-driven, detail-obsessed, and fast to ship Adoption of WON's AI-native design systems, including Claude Design and Figma MCP, to move from concept to shippable work faster Automated asset creation built on our Figma component libraries, so variations and scale stop being manual work Contributing to the expansion of WON’s design agents and workflows, flagging what should be automated next Conversion and AOV move measurably on the experiences you touch Customers move further through the funnel because of design decisions you made High-quality design ships fast, with less time lost between concept and production Component libraries and AI-assisted workflows reduce manual design work over time, not just for you but for the whole team Your work becomes the most reliable design output at WON, the standard new hires are measured against Design high-conversion sites and landing pages that still feel premium, the kind that belong in the top 1% Design the full customer journey: acquisition landing flows, onboarding, collection architecture, PDP storytelling, cart and checkout, retention and member UX Design growth creative: paid social landing pages, advertorials, quiz flows, product education, bundles and upsell, offer frameworks that feel intentional, not desperate Build and maintain component libraries and design systems that scale across brands and campaigns Use Claude Design, Figma MCP, and automated asset generation to reduce production time without reducing quality Continuously evaluate your own workflow and flag what should be turned into a repeatable system or agent Present work with conviction, backed by session replays, cohort behavior, and voice of customer 5+ years in digital design, agency or in-house Strong ecommerce / DTC experience A portfolio of modern, premium work, not template-driven Mastery in Figma Strong typography instincts, real ones Taste that holds up under scrutiny: you can articulate why a design decision is right, not just that it feels right Comfortable being measured by impact, not just output Familiarity with AI design tools such as Claude Design or Figma MCP, or genuine interest in building them into your workflow Designed for high-end brands (beauty, apparel, wellness, premium food) Experience working within Shopify ecosystems Built component libraries and design systems from scratch Contributed to CRO programs that produced measurable performance gains Portfolio / Proof of Work Expectation We Value Modern, premium design work, not template-driven Evidence your design decisions moved a real metric: conversion, AOV, or funnel progression Systems thinking: component libraries and reusable frameworks, not just one-off screens Comfort presenting and defending design decisions with data How We Work / Culture Design is treated as a growth system, not a decoration function Insights come first: every decision is grounded in customer behavior and tied to KPIs AI and automation are used to eliminate manual production work, not to replace judgment High clarity, ownership, and craft are core values: work ships fast instead of dying in Figma Why Join WON Build design systems that move revenue for brands doing $50M to $500M+ in revenue Work at the intersection of design, behavioral insight, and AI-native workflows High ownership over execution, with a clear roadmap and a VP of Design invested in your growth Collaborate with a founder-led team with taste and urgency, and full access to the truth: session replays, cohort data, voice of customer Help build the AI design systems, including Claude Design, Figma MCP, and automated component workflows, that define how WON designs at scale If you want to be a career designer, this probably isn’t for you.
