Videographer

LEARNSUPERMART PTE. LTD.

Singapore, Singaporecontract

Our Videographer at Learns will primarily be working within our video production team. You might occasionally be involved in a few other video production aspects ranging from ideas conceptualisation to post-production and delivery with the rest of the team. Note that only our production work is done on-site. But pre-production and post-production work will be done from home. Hurray! Lastly, understand that this is an basic-level videographer position, so while we don't need years of relevant experience from you, if you have some work experience, you will be prioritised. What Responsibilities Will You Hold? Report to and work with the Director and Producer and other staff on day-to-day operations... well, what else!? Mainly operate cameras without minimal to no supervision from the Director during shoots. Manage b-rolls shoots when we need you to shoot straightforward projects by yourself, with some guidance from the Producer. Manage on-site production activities, including operations of camera, lights and sound equipment. In case you are curious, we use mainly Sony gear. Be involved in some pre-production planning with Director and Producer, which includes concept development and storyboarding. Yes, we'll need your brains too. Be involved in post-production with editing team to deliver high quality product on time. This isn't often, but we welcome you to be involved. Identify best practices for video production and evolve daily operations as necessary. And if you want, you can even be in front of our cameras to be the star that you always wanted. First and foremost, you should already have basic knowledge of camera operations. We can train you to handle our gear, but you should at least know the fundamentals. You must want to continually improve, be spontaneous and take initiatives. You must be able to work as a team player in a small team to handle a few projects simultaneously. But when required, you have to be able to work independently as well. You should possess some elements of basic cinematography knowledge, at least to have an inclination towards knowing how to design simple sets and frame the cameras. You should dislike working in offices and during office hours... yup, no typos here. But we expect you to contribute towards a 40 to 44-hour workweek though. And yes, we hate to work 60-hour weeks as much as you do. But you must be able to work during nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as required, as there are no fixed office hours. At the end of the day, the most important things are your willingness to learn, be better in everything that you do a year from now, and want to contribute back to the team and the company. Well, we don't really care if you're graduating from a uni, a poly or an ITE. In fact, we don't really look at your grades. Learns Marketing is hoping to get you in with the attitude in wanting to work hard, learn continuously and grow together. Even if you don't possess every one of the qualities above, but want to learn, feel free to apply. But our advice is... do know what you're signing up for. If you are purely looking to make a lot of money, or have a regimental work life, there are numerous other ways to do so than to join our small and hardworking team... or even work in the creative industry for that matter. But if you want your competence and creativity in videography to be showcased, and love to work in and lead a team in a small company, then this post could be the best thing for you! Learns Marketing (operated under LearnSuperMart Pte Ltd) is a video production company that specialises in the production of YouTube videos for ourselves and our clients. Take a look at our own YouTube channels - @LearnsMarketing and @JessicaLoke We also shoot many corporate videos. Since 2016, we have produced over 2,000 videos for our small business to government clients in industries such as property, financial advisory, car dealership, tuition, training, and many more. Our work include mainly marketing and podcast type of videos for our clients, but occasionally, we produce short films and cinematic ads. We don't do many short form reels, as YouTube is our specialty. As Learns Marketing is a small company, so we don't like all the red tapes and rigid work practices assorted with big MNCs as much as you. And so we treat every one of our team members... as team members! We don't really have a hierarchy system where you must report to a "boss". We work together... we learn together... and we will grow together. Hey, and did we say you don't need to work in a boring office, and strictly abide by office hours ? In fact, you don't even have to report to work in any office most of the time! So if you are keen to put your knowledge to produce content, shoot videos and oversee the fruition of your masterpieces, this is the chance for you! Learns Marketing (operating under LearnSuperMart Pte Ltd) is a Video Production House built into a Social Media Marketing Agency. We relish in assisting our clients to create high-quality videos to be use in the running of their branding and markerting campaigns. Having produced over 1,000 client videos and pushed out over 400 campaigns since 2016, we have the experience in producing just about all kinds of creative medias. Our team - Team Learns, is lean... but we are efficient. Learns Marketing does not believe in making our team work in boring offices. Our Team Members have been working from home since we started operations in 2015, and we do not have any plans to change this policy. Also, we pride in encouraging our Team Members to pursue their hobbies, spend time with family and friends, and even work side hustles... as long as these do not conflict with their work. We typically work no more than 4 days a week, and our senior Team Members get more than 28 days of annual leave and other benefits. Coupled with a working environment that's casual, but professional when required, Learns Marketing is a company that many young talents want to be a part of. If you possess the right qualities - able to work professionally and independently, believe in teamwork, are resourceful and of course, good in what you do, you can have an opportunity to be part of the growing Team in Learns Marketing.
