Brand Copywriter (Part-Time, Freelance)

Mozilla Corporation

Home Officefreelance

Mozilla Foundation works on some of the hardest questions in tech: how AI gets built and governed, who the internet serves, and what a healthier digital world actually looks like. The thinking behind that work is rigorous. It draws on research, policy analysis, and years of expertise. The problem is that rigorous thinking often stays locked inside reports and briefings, written for people who already agree with us. We're looking for a copywriter who can unlock it. Someone who can take a dense idea, understand it properly, and rewrite it so a curious person with no background in what we do, gets it in one read. It shouldn’t be dumbed down or stripped of nuance, just super clear. This is a part-time freelance role reporting into the marketing team, focused on campaign and marketing copy. Please note: This is an independent contractor opportunity and is not an employment position with Mozilla Foundation. Write campaign copy across channels: web pages, email, social, video scripts, and paid placements Work with researchers, fellows, and program leads to translate their work into copy that holds up to their scrutiny and lands with a general audience Take briefs from concept to final copy, including headlines, taglines, and CTAs Adapt one core idea into many formats without the message drifting Protect the integrity of the source material. If a simplification changes the meaning, you flag it and find another way in Keep our voice consistent across campaigns while giving each one room to feel distinct 5+ years writing brand or campaign copy, ideally some of it for mission-driven organizations, research institutions, or brands dealing in complex subject matter Proof that you can do the hard version of simplifying: a portfolio piece where the source material was technical or academic and the output was genuinely readable Comfort interviewing subject-matter experts and pushing back when the jargon creeps in Strong editing instincts. You know the difference between shorter and clearer Self-directed. You can run with a brief, manage your own hours, and hit deadlines without hand-holding Interest in the issues we work on: AI accountability, privacy, open internet. You don't need to be an expert but being interested helps! Nice to have Experience in advocacy, campaigning, or public-interest communications Familiarity with SEO and performance copy basics Experience writing for global audiences Experience writing exec communications Engagement Type: Freelance contract, part-time Commitment: Approximately 10-15 hours per week (to begin) Location: Remote Term: Initial 3-month engagement Rate: Competitive day rate, based on experience Please submit the following: Three writing samples that demonstrate your range as a copywriter. These must be existing pieces, such as published work. You may either attach them as documents or share links to them. Provision is made for both options in the application fields. A short note about the hardest idea you have ever had to make simple. Please make sure your response addresses the following: What made the idea difficult to explain? How did you approach the work and decide what to simplify, emphasize, or leave out? What was the final result, and what (if anything) you’d do differently now? We’re not just interested in the finished product, but also in how you think, make creative choices, and translate complex ideas into clear and compelling language. If your example relates to one of the writing samples you are submitting, please indicate which one. We're excited to see your creativity and learn how you'd help bring Mozilla Foundation's mission to life. #LI-REMOTE

Video Editor- Bengali( Marketing)

Lokal App

Bengaluru, Karnataka, Indiacontract

In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren’t really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they’d come back every day; once there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything online. This spark became Lokal. Our first instinct was to put everything in one place & one app - local updates, classifieds, jobs, matrimony and more. It worked, till it stopped working. Users gave us the insight - when one use case outweighs the others, everything else seems like noise. We listened. Like how Craigslist quietly seeded a generation of focused companies & marketplaces, we began unbundling and verticalising. Today, Lokal is a house of focused apps, many products, one mission: to connect Tier-2/3+ India to the Knowledge, opportunities, tools and experts they’ve always deserved. We now operate dozens of live apps across categories like: Edutainment & Skill Learning – practical skills and learning in regional languages (GyanTV) Matrimonial Matchmaking – hyperlocal, compatibility-first partner search (Lokal Matrimony) Agri Consulting – farmer-first advisory in local languages (AgriLokal) Local Jobs – blue- and grey-collar opportunities close to home (Lokal Jobs, Sahi Jobs) Social & Community – Place to find & post social updates (Lokal app) Emotional Well-being & Peer Support – safe spaces to talk and feel heard (Dostt & Eaze) Astrology & Guidance – instant access to trusted Astrologers via chat and voice (AstroLokal) Advisory Services – early bets in legal help, financial guidance, career counselling, and more Under the hood, Lokal is a discovery and access platform: local-language internet + deep Bharat insight+ AI. When someone opens a product we’ve built, they don’t wade through clutter; they get a straight line to what they came for. This is the story new teammates walk into a company that started as a whatsapp group, became a family of focused apps, and kept one belief at the centre — access changes lives. We ship fast. Motion designer freelance (vídeo y creatividad)

ETERNAMENTE

Colombiacontract

Exchange Life

$5 an hour

United Statescontract

Exchange Life is a fast-growing travel jewelry brand selling collectible travel charms. Our content machine has generated over a quarter billion views across TikTok and Instagram, and we're now scaling our image ad creatives to match. You'll join a lean, fully remote international team of designers, video editors, and content creators, working closely with our Content Lead and Marketing team. This role exists because our image ad output needs to catch up with our video engine, and you'll help build that side of the creative machine. That's the opportunity: you're not joining a mature department to take instructions. You're building the static side of a content operation that has already proved it can do a quarter billion views. Senior Designer. That's the next title, and it's within reach inside your first six months if your work earns it. A Senior Designer here owns the visual direction of our image ads: you test your own concepts rather than executing briefs, you expand our prompt library, and you set the standard the rest of the team designs to. It's decided by performance, not tenure. Produce winners consistently and you'll get there sooner. Base: $5 USD/hour Performance bonuses: $300–$800/month, paid per winning ad. When a creative you made hits our performance thresholds or scales on paid, you get paid for it. There's no cap on how good your month can be Within 1–2 weeks, a successful hire is producing 10/10-quality AI image ads by following our process, creating work that passes review without rework and matches the Exchange Life look. From there, success means consistent output, images that perform on ads, and proactive suggestions that improve the process itself. Generate AI product images using our internal prompts, templates, and workflows Overlay headlines and copy in design tools, matching Exchange Life's visual style Iterate on designs based on feedback from the team and ad performance Organize and manage creative assets, keeping our AI image library clean and up to date Communicate proactively about bottlenecks, capacity, and output Higgsfield Experience / AI Image Generation experience Solid grasp of text placement and typography for ad creatives A portfolio showing clean, polished design work Able to follow a creative brief and established process independently Reliable communicator who shares their opinion and flags issues early Clear written and spoken English Stable internet connection AI image generation experience (Higgsfield or similar tools) Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or social media ad creative AI creative is the fastest-moving skill in marketing right now, and most designers are learning it on personal projects with no feedback loop. You'll learn it on real ad spend. Direct access to ad performance data on your own creatives, so you learn what converts, not just what looks good Our internal prompt library and workflows, plus the paid AI tools to run them 1-on-1 mentorship from our Content Lead Paid courses and software A portfolio of creatives with performance numbers attached, which is the thing that gets designers hired at the next level You need a fixed schedule or close supervision to stay productive You're looking for a short-term project or side gig You want to make art rather than ads that perform Engagement: Independent contractor, paid in USD Location: 100% remote Hours: 40 hrs/week, long-term role Schedule: Fully flexible. Work whenever you want, as long as you deliver and communicate daily (async). No timezone overlap required. Time off: Flexible PTO. Take the time you need, just coordinate with the team. Tools you'll use: Photoshop, AI image generation tools (Higgsfield or similar), our internal prompt library Working style: No micromanagement It takes about 5 minutes. We review every application.

Temporary Social Media Channel & Community Manager | 10 hrs / week

space150

$55.00–$65.00 / hour

Los Angeles, California, United Statestemporary

We're a social-first agency looking for a Social Media Channel & Community Manager to run social for one of our most culturally relevant brand clients. This is a role for a true social media native: someone who doesn't just understand internet culture, but actively participates in it. You'll support the brand's voice and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube, turning every post, caption, and comment thread into a moment that feels unmistakably on-brand. This role is a part-time temporary position at up to 10 hours per week for two months with potential for extension. What You’ll Do Schedule & publish content across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube, and more social channels — helping monitor and track the content calendar and ensuring every post goes live at the right time, in the right format, on the right channel. Engage with the community by responding to comments on our posts in a way that builds connection and reflects the brand’s personality. Monitor and flag comments and content that warrant escalation - use strong judgment to identify what’s important, what aligns with the brand, and when a conversation or issue requires client awareness or intervention. Proactively engage across the internet — monitoring conversations, trends, and cultural moments where our brand has a genuine reason to show up (think: the Duolingo model of cultural participation, not reactive customer service). Lead and track community outreach initiatives - organize DM outreach and responses, maintain clear tracking in spreadsheets, and keep all relevant stakeholders informed on progress, follow-ups, and next steps. Support creator outreach as needed — assist with identifying, contacting, and coordinating with creators to support social and community initiatives. Note: Customer service and support-related inquiries are handled by a separate team and are not part of this role. Exceptional writing skills — you can adapt tone fluidly while maintaining a consistent brand identity, and your copy is clean, clever, and platform-native. Deep, genuine love of social media and internet culture. You’re not learning this stuff — you already know it. Experience at a social media agency or in-house at a brand with a standout, successful social presence. The ability to move quickly, stay culturally relevant, and exercise sharp judgment about when and how to engage. Hands-on experience with social media planning, publishing, and reporting tools (e.g. Dash, Sprout Social, or similar). Comfort analyzing social performance data — you can read what the numbers are telling you and translate that into clear optimizations and actionable recommendations. We are an AI-forward workplace. Familiarity with generative AI tools and a willingness to integrate them into your daily workflow is highly encouraged. Strong technical proficiency — comfortable working with current phones, computers, and social publishing tools, with a practical understanding of file sizes, formats, uploads, downloads, and other technical requirements that keep content publishing workflows running smoothly. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Nothing slips through the cracks on your watch. You’ve built (or helped build) the workstreams and processes that keep always-on social running smoothly, and you know why that infrastructure matters. Responsive and communicative. Teammates and stakeholders always know where things stand. You bring structure to ambiguity without losing the creative energy that makes social work. Flexible and reliable with limited hours - able to work within a part-time schedule while maintaining strong communication, consistent follow-through, and an organized workflow. Background in concepting, content development, and social content creation, specifically short-form video (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts). Hands-on experience shooting, editing, or producing short-form video content. At space150, we are committed to pay transparency and equity in accordance with applicable laws. We believe in providing clear, upfront information regarding compensation to ensure a fair hiring process for all candidates. Role Type: Part-time, Temporary (Up to 10 hours per week). Hourly Rate: $55.00 - $65.00 / hour based on experience Payroll: This is a W2 position only; all compensation will be processed through the space150 payroll system. Freelance Video Producer & Editor — GTA 6 Bible

GAMURS Group

National Capital Region, Philippinescontract

GTA 6 Bible is the wiki, database, interactive map and news desk for Grand Theft Auto VI, and part of GAMURS Group. GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026 and will be the largest entertainment launch of the decade. We're building the video channel that covers it — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Shorts — from the ground up. We're looking for a Video Producer & Editor who knows Grand Theft Auto properly and can run our video output end to end: finding the idea, capturing or sourcing the footage, cutting it, and shipping it. This is deliberately not a brief-taking editing role. The person we want watches a Rockstar trailer and immediately knows which three moments are worth a video, which fan theory is worth taking seriously, and which detail the rest of the internet has missed. If you need a shot list handed to you, this isn't the role. If you have opinions about what we should be making, it is. You'll own the direction of the channel as well as the output. We're starting close to zero across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, so the job is as much about working out what grows fastest as it is about producing it — setting the slate, reading what worked, and changing course when the numbers say to. You'll produce both long-form YouTube content and a steady stream of verticals for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with each long-form piece cut down into multiple short-form assets — plus meme and edit content that speaks to the community in its own language. Pitch, produce and edit long-form YouTube video — trailer breakdowns, news explainers, retrospectives, comparisons and launch coverage. Cut every long-form piece into short-form verticals for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels. Capture your own gameplay and B-roll where needed. Ahead of launch this means GTA V, GTA Online and RDR2; after 19 November it means GTA 6 itself. Turn around reaction and breakdown content fast when Rockstar drops something — trailers, the 12 November pre-load, and the 19 November launch are the moments that matter most. Make meme, edit and reaction content — trending audio, community in-jokes, quick-turnaround formats — that reads as native to the GTA community rather than a brand imitating it. All original work; no watermarked reposts. Write your own hooks, titles, thumbnails and on-screen text, optimised per platform. Turn our best-performing articles into video where the story has a visual payoff — our wiki and database already tell us which subjects have an audience, so use them as a starting point rather than starting cold every time. Produce video that lives on the site as well as on social, embedded into the articles it supports. Keeping people on the page is as valuable to us as reach. Work with our news desk and social manager so video, articles and social output reinforce each other. Set the content slate — decide what gets made each week, and which formats and series are worth investing in based on what's actually performing. Own channel growth: read the analytics across every platform, identify what's working, and make the call to double down or drop it. We'll expect you to bring that view to a regular catch-up rather than waiting to be asked. A showreel of short-form and long-form video you have produced and edited yourself, ideally for a gaming or entertainment audience. Genuine knowledge of the Grand Theft Auto series and the wider games landscape — enough to originate ideas without being briefed. Meme fluency. You're already in these communities, you know what's funny to them this week, and you can tell the difference between a joke that lands and a brand trying to be funny. Fluency in a professional editing suite (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut Pro) plus motion graphics and captioning. The ability to capture clean gameplay footage yourself. A demonstrable sense of what makes someone stop scrolling in the first two seconds. A track record of growing a channel or account — ideally from an early stage. Tell us the numbers and what you did to move them. The judgement to know which written stories deserve a video and which don't. A listicle read over B-roll is not a video, and we'd rather make fewer, better things. Comfort reading platform analytics and acting on them rather than reporting them. Reliable, self-directed output. You manage your own pipeline and hit dates without chasing. Availability to react quickly around major Rockstar beats. Comfort on camera, or voiceover ability. Familiarity with AI clipping tools and repurposing workflows. An eye for thumbnails that earn clicks honestly. Please submit: A showreel or links to 3–5 pieces you produced and edited, with a note on what was yours on each. Your resume or portfolio. Three video ideas you would make for GTA 6 Bible in the next fortnight, one line each — at least one of which should be a meme or short-form edit. We weight this heavily. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short paid test brief. GAMURS Group is committed to being an inclusive and welcoming place to work. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, religion, gender identity and expression, and sexual orientation.
