Part-time Video Editor and SMM

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor and Social Media Specialist to create engaging long-form and short-form content for a growing business. This is a part-time remote position suited to someone who combines strong video editing skills with a practical understanding of social media content.

Key responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form social media content.
• Turn raw footage into polished videos with strong storytelling, pacing, audio, transitions, and color correction.
• Create and repurpose content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Publish and manage content across relevant social media platforms.
• Optimize YouTube uploads, including titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and basic SEO.
• Maintain consistent visual quality and brand presentation across content.
• Organize and manage video and content assets for future use.

About you

• 3+ years of professional video editing or post-production experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional editing software.
• Experience editing both long-form and short-form video content.
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and visual quality.
• Experience publishing content on YouTube and major social media platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while working independently.
• Portfolio or samples demonstrating relevant video editing work.
