Social Media Manager - Video Editor

Job Summary: We're reaching out to find a talented Social Media Manager and Video Editor to join our team and bring our content to life. You'll shape raw video footage into polished, publish-ready content and then manage its release on our social channels. This role is made for someone who pairs strong editing skills with an instinct for social media and can work independently after a short onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut raw video footage into polished, publish-ready videos
• Take care of posting and publishing finished content on our social media channels
• Own a recurring content workflow, from raw footage handoff to the final published post
• Return edited content within agreed timeframes
• Keep visual style and quality consistent across every video and post
• Share proactive updates on progress, turnaround times, and any questions
• Work independently once trained, with little ongoing supervision

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven social media video editing experience with a strong portfolio to show for it
• Comfortable managing and publishing content on social media platforms
• Able to work flexibly around a recurring content handoff schedule and meet turnaround deadlines
• Organized, exacting, and able to manage your own workload
• Strong communication skills and clear progress and turnaround updates

Preferred Skills:

• Background in content creation or personal branding
• Quick learner who picks up workflows with light initial guidance
• Happy to take on more hours and responsibility as trust develops
• Familiarity with best practices for posting and scheduling on social platforms
