Short Form Video Editor

Job Summary: We're keen to bring on a creative and reliable Social Media Video Editor to support a growing health and wellness brand. This role centers on turning raw footage into polished, engaging short-form videos for Instagram, plus light administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly. The right candidate is a skilled editor with a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce engaging short-form videos (Instagram Reels) from provided footage
• Bring videos to life with captions, transitions, music, and effects to maximize engagement
• Repurpose raw or long-form content into polished, platform-ready clips
• Keep a consistent visual style and branding across all content
• Help with scheduling and posting content across social platforms as needed
• Organize and filter incoming emails, sorting them into the right folders or inboxes
• Flag priority emails and schedule calls or follow-ups on the owner's behalf
• Provide general administrative support to help keep the day-to-day organized

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience editing short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, or similar)
• Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent
• Strong sense of pacing, visual hierarchy, and what makes short-form content engaging
• Solid organizational skills for handling email and administrative tasks
• Dependable, detail-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and quick responsiveness

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Canva or graphic design tools
• Experience with social media scheduling and posting tools
• Comfort with inbox organization and email management systems
• Interest in or experience with health, wellness, or lifestyle content
• Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities at once
