Own and evolve a product design system, creating scalable UI components and interaction patterns while partnering closely with engineering to ensure consistent, accessible implementation across products. - Own and evolve the design system (components, patterns, foundations, tokens) - Define and maintain standards for consistency and usability across products - Act as final design authority for system-level decisions and changes - Design, document, and maintain reusable UI components and interaction patterns - Proactively build scalable components to support future product use cases - Establish contribution, review, and release processes for design system governance - Review other designers’ contributions for adherence to system standards - Collaborate with engineers to ensure components are feasible and maintainable - Create documentation, guidelines, and examples to drive adoption - Identify gaps and iterate based on product learnings and user feedback
