Hatch is seeking a contract Sound Designer to shape the sonic identity of its meditation and mindfulness content slate, from early development through final delivery. You will design soundscapes and original music, oversee recording workflows, and deliver polished mixes optimized for Hatch hardware. - Collaborate with producers to define tone, style, and sonic identity for new channels - Build proofs of concept and experiment with music and sonic palettes during development - Collect, organize, and manage audio elements (original music, themes, library material) - Conduct studio tech checks, audio tests, and communicate file specs/recording standards - Oversee and troubleshoot recording sessions (studio or remote) to meet quality standards - Design and implement soundscapes, ambience, and effects for meditation and narrative audio - Edit and mix dialogue for clarity, consistency, and natural pacing - Integrate original and library music with seamless transitions and balanced levels - Mix and master audio for optimal playback on Hatch devices and off-platform listening - Own QC and deliver final audio assets in required formats and standards
