As a Senior Lighting Artist, you will lead lighting and rendering for complex, photorealistic VFX shots on a stop-motion animated feature, collaborating closely with creative and technical teams to meet the project vision and deadlines. - Create sequence and shot lighting looks based on production artwork - Translate practical soundstage lighting setups into CG using survey data - Own look development for shots and sequences in collaboration with other departments - Integrate characters, digital objects, set extensions, and environmental effects into scenes - Provide technical guidance and quality control support for other artists - Develop and deliver creative, technically sound lighting solutions for shots and sequences - Help build and document lighting workflows, tools, templates, and best practices - Mentor and support training of new hires as needed
